Privacy Policy

With us, your private data is truly private

Your personal data is yours. And that is why we keep it truly private. For our services, we do ask for your personal data and record it. We need this for the services we provide to you. This also allows us to provide you with the best possible information for your situation.

The General Data Protection Regulation, abbreviated as GDPR, has been in effect since 25 May 2018. This law applies to all European countries and describes how companies must handle personal data. Of course, we have ensured that we comply with this law.

Would you like to know more about how we handle your privacy? Then read more about this in our extensive explanation.

Legitimate reasons for recording and using your data

The GDPR states that we may only record, process and use your personal data on the basis of legitimate reasons. And that we need your permission for this. We register your personal data in order to fulfil our contractual agreements with you, to provide you with good service and to be able to communicate with appropriate information and promotions from our company in a tailor-made manner.

We keep a neat record of which personal data you have indicated to us that we may record, process and use, including for which purposes.

In contractual agreements, we need your personal data for:

Orders
Deliveries
Maintenance of purchased services

For a good customer experience, we like to use the personal data that we have from you. We do this for:

Obtaining your feedback & customer satisfaction surveys
Contact with our customer service
Visit our website
Visit our social media channels
Customer accounts
Newsletter & e-mail
Personal advice
Promotions

In addition, we have a legal obligation to use your data when we suspect fraud. In suspicious situations, we will also sometimes be obliged to share personal data with government agencies.

Who has access to your data

Only our company has access to your personal data, unless sharing it with other companies is really necessary for excellent service to you and for legal obligations. When we share your personal data, we have made and recorded agreements about this with those companies in advance. In addition, these companies may only use and process the personal data as we have recorded with them.

For example, if a product is sent to your company, the transport company that carries this out will of course need your address and specific company data.

Term for storing your data

We store your personal data for a reasonable period, so that we can give you the best possible experience with our company. We may store the information anonymously for internal analyses and reports.

In practice, our policy for storing your personal data means the following:

We store the stored data of customers for a period of 7 years after their last order.
The tax authorities require us to store the invoice, payment and order data for a period of 7 years. After that, we only store anonymous data for internal analyses and reports.
We delete inactive portal accounts after 7 years.
We store the permissions we have received from you, for example for receiving newsletters and promotions. Also from the indication that you no longer wish to receive these. We store these for a period of 7 years.
We store data that turned out to be necessary for fraud for a long time. Not nice, but necessary.
